Then I saw the Time Editor and Chaos Editor, among other features, that again made it seem like this is a pretty cool tool with interesting functionality for on-the-fly variation. The capabilities seemed pretty cool, but didn't seem like something a DAW couldn't do. Naturally the description of the Stylus RMX really interested me, and I looked at a few videos. I actually really enjoy the 'Drummer' feature in Logic. I've never tried SuperiorDrummer, but I'd love to own a copy.

I currently own StevenSlateDrums5, and really enjoy the sounds (the lack of intuitive groove file names leaves something to be deserved, but I haven't dabbled much in this kind of software either so idk what others look like) out of that program. It seems like this software could really help me learn hands on, and produce quality sounds (I'm certainly not versed in "quality synth" sounds, the youtube vids I saw sounded good to me) at the same time.ĭrums/percussion is my secondary instrument. Price aside, I'm personally battling between the AAS Ultra Analog VA-3, and the Spectrasonics Stylus RM.

I'm not sure what "12 month renewable license" means yet, but if it means I only get this software for free for a year then, RMX it is. From a financial standpoint, it seems silly not to choose the RMX or the Grand Pianos. Which one would you choose? The prices are wildly different, as you can see above.

If you would like to make a comparison, please recommend to me a competitor (like if you know another company's equivalent of the RMX, as some say it and it's sounds are dated, please tell me here). I understand these are all totally different products, so I'm not looking for a comparison. Synthogy Ivory II Grand Pianos (12 month renewable license) ($349 - pretty sure standard license).I have the opportunity to receive one of the 4 following softwares from a distributor/product club. Hey everyone I'm completely new to Reddit, first post ever, think I'm doing it right.
